Princess Ruby

Ruby is 11 years old, she is the youngest princess of Xornarian Dynasty.

She has one older sister and a baby brother.

She feels very out of place in her home, her mother and father love her, but she does not feel the call to royalty. She feels the need for adventure.

She wanders the grounds often, and one day and bumped into a common soldier. She was so excited! She makes him her personal companion.

The soldier's name was Loxi.

They had fun, days in and days out. Ruby wanted to learn how to be a soldier, she even wanted to be one when she grew.

But that all came crashing down when she learned that Loxi was going to be shipped off of castle grounds, she freaked out.

She cried and begged. She even became so desperate as to try and force her way into the soldier's quarters. Her dramatics did not go over with the King and Queen. They fought over her punishment. And Loxi was not going to stay.

So, she ran.

She choice a day where not many people roamed. This was supposed to be her final day with Loxi. They hung out by the bridge. She sat close to the edge. Loxi didn't notice and patted her on the back like he always did. She fell into the rapid river below. She mother was out that day, her mother saw her child falling into a river with Loxi's concerningly close. Which was a horrid sight for any mother. Ruby will always be grateful for what Loxi did next; he jumped in after her.

She screamed and landed in the cold water, she surfaced and further down was Loxi. He was trying to get to her.

When he caught her, he pulled her close, Ruby was terrified, Loxi must've been too, but he was brave.

When they surfaced Loxi hauled her out before himself. Now it was just him and her. Just like she wanted.

That was the start of their adventure.

The kingdom believed she'd been kidnapped, and that Loxi was a cruel man.
