Bellov was once a stray dog with benevolent heart and soft, shivering eyes, until he met his end freezing to death in the streets of Moscow. He was found by a wealthy scientist who knew the poor dog under the name of Scharik.
The only way the scientist was able to save the stray was... one of questionable ethics.
After a long sleep Scharik woke up, but saw the world in a completely new light than before. He started to understand the human language, learned how to write and read. He learned how to be have like a human and with that his soft heart froze over.
He couldn't stand humans.
