ba'alance

ba'al is the father figure and leader of the Order of the Crimson Eye.

he made a deal with a dark entity that granted him powers of persuasion and charisma. his followers are mostly his children, and the kin of the entity he dealt with. the black wolves in the Order are treated as babysitters and caretakers, but seem to genuinely have a deep loyalty for their soft, pliable dependents.

ba'al likes to dance and do acrobatics for his followers. he is sort of a guru who promotes dance and hypnotic music for well being. lance is his "first disciple" and has an irrational fear (which Ba'al may have implanted on him during a hypnotic suggestion session) of ba'al's feet touching the ground and making him 'sullied' or dirty. during ba'al's dances lance is totally focused on making sure that he doesn't touch the ground.
